Sometimes dreams come true! Dreaming all my life about this car,and finally i got it in my possession.
1993 Alfa Romeo 155 Q4, originally exported and sold in Japan in the end of 1993.
Car is equipped with Zender body kit, Recaro interior, Momo steering wheel, Sparco pedals, Novitec exhaust, electronically adjustable suspension, OZ Superturismo 17" wheels, finished in Alfa Rosso.
After spending almost 20 years in Japan, car is exported to Canada and put for sale, with just 61813km. Article from CarScoops magazine attached
An older gentleman from Vancouver Island, bought the car, and in 8 years of ownership, he put just 1100km on it. I acquired car from him in September 2021. Car was near mint condition inside and out. The only issues were old tires, and leaking power steering pump. Timing belt was also due.
After acquiring the car, I replaced the tires (Yokohama Advan 701), changed the breaks (Brembo rotors and pads), brake master cylinder, and all brake hoses and handbrake cables. Calipers were also reconditioned. I put around 1000km on it after that, and car worked like a charm.
Car is inspected for rust, and no rust found anywhere on the car. Car is also equipped with complete system of intercooler sprayers from factory, just missing the water bag.
Than after all insoection, I decide, to completely restore the car with all new parts (most of them are old stocks, original) in order to preserve all the original parts that were on the car. So months of acquiring parts, from Italy, Greece, Litvania, Estonia, Germany, UK, Serbia, started.
After 4 long months, Project is almost completed, and except turbocharger, piston rings, and rod bearings, everything else is brand new, to the last gasket, bit and bolt. Car is also upgraded with XYZ Super Sport adjustable coilovers, and lowered, and wheels and calipers are painted white. All lights inside and out are changed to LED lights.
All of the old parts removed from the car are stored in boxes and put in storage. Next to do is polishing the paint, and applying liquid PPF protection.
Sound system of a car will be also upgraded with vintage components, like Alpine CDA-7897 Phantom head unit, and Alpine 4 and 6.5inch R series speakers, together with Alpine V12 4 channel amplifier.
That would be it for now. Stay tuned for more!
